TNEW & Calendar Links for Outlook, Google Calendar, iCal

Good afternoon TessNetwork,

We're in the process of bringing on a new member of our consortium and received this question that I didn't immediately have a good answer to.

I know that it is possible to create calendar links for events to add them to your Outlook Calendar, Google Calendar, or iCal. However, the question was whether or not it is possible for TNEW to automatically generate any of these calendar files automatically.

Anybody know if this is a thing that can happen, or if it has to be a manual effort?

    Hi Brian,

    Nick is correct that this an enhancement request to be reviewed in TNEW & TNMP out of the box in the future. However, you can use html widgets out there to add the html to the confirmation emails using the LTR_TNEW_DYN_Email system table for each event. This is one that I've played around with a bit. It generates the html for you based on the event date and time and the style of button you want to use. https://addtocalendar.com/
