Hi all
I hope there is someone out there who can help me figure this out. We have a setup, using only two standard price types and few MOS but a lot of pricing rules. Our single ticket buyers pay a fee when booking, our subscribers does not. So my problem is that I am certain that I have seen this scenario happen: A subscriber add something to the basket, then login and the MOS is shifted, pricing rules fires, fees are removed. But for some reason this does not happen at the moment. We have the same price types in both mos, so it is possible to change MOS even though they have something in the basket, but do anyone know which call to use in order to have the MOS shift through the web? We are not on TNEW.
Hope someone is having the answer, cause my brilliant setup needs this last thing in order to be bullitt proof.
Thanks
Eva
Hi Eva,
You can use rankings to shift the MOS on the web: https://www.tessituranetwork.com/Help_System_v125/Content/Tessitura_and_the_Web/Rank%20Based%20Mode%20of%20Sale%20Shifts.htm
You would just need to add a ranking to your subscribers.
So long as the price type is available in the new MOS, you should have you problem changing the MOS and keeping the items in your basket (I think)...

Hi David. Well actually the problem was solved by using the call ChangeModeOfSaleEx, then the MOS will change when the customer logs in base dof their ranking.
