Hello!!
I've a question and I'm certain there's someone with greater experience has an answer! We're selling our first subscription season from start to finish on TNEW. We've used forms prior. Left the SYOS map off and are selling unseated. This leaves us managing with a manual tally which is becoming cumbersome.
Would love to hear from anyone who has put a season on sale in a similar manner and how you handled it. Our subs set up is different from most in that it is entirely flex, even within specific packages. Seating each subscriber in the same seats each season is a challenge but one we manage to keep up with.
Thank you for any insight. It's much appreciated!
Michelle
I had the same hope/expectation the last time I did an unseated sale period, but if I recall correctly, capacity against price and zone is NOT tracked for unseated sales. But I think it would be worth an enhancement request.
In terms of working around that, one option I can think of would be setting up a SQL Server scheduled job to check the number of sold/unseated SLIs for each performance, and then close the MOS (or do something else to take the product off sale) once it reaches the limit or a nearby threshold. Consider the number of seats a person can reserve at one time, the rate at which the job runs, and the pacing of sales.
