Which path did they take?

Is there any way in TNEW to see which purchase path a patron took? Or is there any tracking of web pages (flow) the customer took to eventually end up at checkout? We are trying to do some troubleshooting and would like to know what the customer's activity was before purchasing.

I checked out T_Web_Order and found a session key. I searched that session key in the TNEW logs (correlating the order date with the log date) but didn't find anything. Any ideas?

Thanks!

  • Hi Steven,

If you have ecommerce tracking turned on, you can create a custom segment based on the order id and use that to see which pages in a session a particular customer looked at. Fairly time consuming of course.

The other way is to get the web logs from TNEW, if they are available, and then follow the user through those.

    Cheers,

I don't think we'll get any data like that from Google analytics

That sounds like something you want to set up with Google Analytics, rather than queries from within Tessitura.  I could be wrong, but I don't believe there's any path record stored there.
