Installing GA across TNEW and a custom CMS

Hi all,

Apologies if this has been already posted, but I couldn't find it in a search. We have a custom CMS and TNEW and I'm wondering if anyone out there has successfully installed google analytics that will track from the CMS through the TNEW portion of the site. And if so, how was this done? It's my understanding that if the GA code is in the head portion of the site and also in the TNEW template's head that it will track across.

Can anyone confirm that's accurate? Anyone do this on an .aspx site?

Hi Hudson,

While I havn't done it with TNEW, I have done it with different sites before and having the same GA code on two sites will work fine, you just need to setup the cross domain tracking as part of the code. Google details are here: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1034342?hl=en

You should also setup views for each site so you can look at your combined and individual data which can be surprisingly useful.
