Seat View Photos

Hi everyone,

We're considering investing in some customizations to show the potential audience's perspective when using the SYOS with photos of the house.

I know the ISO is doing this. Is anyone else?

Thanks!

    Hi Molly,

We do it for about twenty seats in our two larger (Oliver and Lyttelton) Theatres. You can see an example yourself here to measure the customer's experience.

It gives the customer a good idea however there is always the chance that the set is very different to the photo we've put up there so it's really more of a guide.

It's my understand that the Royal Opera House do it for most/every seat in the house.

  • We do this at the moment, although our photos need to be very generic as we use a facility for multiple performances (multiple rock and pop shows/ different ballet/opera).

  • Hello Molly,

Here at Melbourne Recital Centre we also have pictures to accompany SYOS functionality on our website: https://e.melbournerecital.com.au/booking/production/syos/7786?performance=

Click on the Stalls, Circle or Wings seats and go to your top right button for the ‘Explore the View from Seats’ and you’ll be able to see photos of multiple viewpoints within our Hall.

    Cheers,

    Katherine

We do it too. You can find it through arshtcenter.org and it is in the SYOS module.
