Code Repositories

I'm wondering where on this community there are any code repositories posted? Is there another site where people are sharing code?

  • I’ve started using BitBucket for my own source control (using git) since you can create private repos for free for small teams. This may also be a better idea for TN than GitHub seeing as how they already make use of some other Atlassian tools like the Confluence wiki referenced earlier in the thread — Confluence/JIRA/Bitbucket tend to be very tightly integrated.

    Hi Heather,

What about the idea of using GitHub Teams ? Not sure how easy it would be to manage, but you could create separate teams for different use cases.. i.e.: General Network Members, Tessitura Staff, Special joint-community projects, etc.

We use GitHub exclusively for code repos and sharing and have found it ideal for working with teams both publicly and privately. There is also a self hosted Enterprise version that might make more sense for a company like Tessitura.

    Hi Micah!

We're in discussion right now concerning repo additions to the developer.tessituranetwork.com site.  Hopefully will have some updates to share in the near future!
