Is anyone using Tessitura to sell Merchandise/Concessions? We would love to hear how you implemented it/how it works for your venue.
We use it for our online shop http://www.strathmore.org/shop/ but not for in person sales, for that the gift shop has had the same POS system long before we got Tessitura, we have literally hundreds of products in our gift shop, and about 100 online.
Let me know if you have any questions

Yale Repertory Theatre uses it to record Concessions sales at the end of the performance, but aren’t (yet) actively recording sales live into Tess. We have a Concessions season and a Concessions productions season (which reflects which production the sales are associated with – example: Hamlet Concessions). Each Concessions item is set up as a performance. Each performance has it’s specific price type. It’s been working well for us and has given us some great data. We’re also using House capacities to track inventory levels.
