Using Tessitura for Concessions

Is anyone using Tessitura to sell Merchandise/Concessions?  We would love to hear how you implemented it/how it works for your venue.

  • Yale Repertory Theatre uses it to record Concessions sales at the end of the performance, but aren’t (yet) actively recording sales live into Tess. We have a Concessions season and a Concessions productions season (which reflects which production the sales are associated with – example: Hamlet Concessions). Each Concessions item is set up as a performance. Each performance has it’s specific price type. It’s been working well for us and has given us some great data. We’re also using House capacities to track inventory levels.
