Double Seating from superpackage performance sharing

We switched into a new system of ticketing about a year ago which utilizes super packages to help us fill up two different sized spaces. For example, someone might come to Package A which includes week 1 in the smaller venue and week two in the larger venue, but they might also come to Package B which includes week 8 in the smaller venue and week 1 in the larger. This allows us to split our audiences in the smaller house and spread them throughout the run in the larger house so we can have fewer performances in the larger house and fill it up.

We also allow unlimited exchanges for our subscribers and we continue to allow people to subscribe long after we begin doing exchanges.

We have run into a pretty large issue in that since each package has it's own base map, if someone in Package A exchanges all their tickets for a show that is in the larger venue, those seats would normally be kept from being put in a different person's subscription because the base map retains the seats so they show up as sold in the composite map. However those seats would be available in package B because it has its own base map.

During our rollover we've discovered that multiple people have been booked for the same seats in their subscriptions.

Is anyone else dealing with anything like this or have any ideas on solutions?

Thanks!
