Regarding best practices, we're curious to know how pre-paid parking is setup amongst fellow Tessiturans. We have it setup as if it were another show, but this often causes problems with custom reports where it is treated as an additional performance for the season.
Is there another way to set this up so that it can be offered easily to customers over the web without interfering with our reporting?
We keep parking in a different season, but, yes, set up as a show.

How about: set these up as a special perf_type, which you modify your custom reports to ignore.
Matt,
We set it up like a show as well but we have a season for all non-concert events called 13-14 Other. By doing it this way we can choose to not have it show up in the Performance Sales Summary tab in season manager/season overview. It also allows us to omit that season on reports that have that parameter or just run it by that season alone.
Hope this helps.
Best,

We have them set up as individual performances but they are in their own Season (2013 Car Parks, 2014 Car Parks etc.). This makes reporting easy for us as our custom sales reports all have a season parameter, so that we can pull reports on our different seasons easily.

Hi Matt,
We set these up as performances as well as other things like picnics, hearing assistance receivers etc. and we put them in a special perf_type. We have a multitude of defined performance types to keep everything separate from our main stage performances.
