Restricting to a Hold Code

Hello!

Is it possible to restrict a user so that they can ONLY seat using a hold code? As in, they cannot book into empty seats.

My goal is to be able to hold seats various seats that a group of users can book into, but I don't want them booking anywhere else in the house, nor do I want them to be able to add more hold codes.

Thoughts?

Thanks!

Molly

You could do that with Allocations.

  • No, but that is what allocation codes are for.  You can create a mode of sale for this user group, only give them access to that mode of sale, and then only give it access to the special allocation code (do not associate the unallocated code), the result of which will be that they can only sell seats that are allocated.
