Hi all,
I think I am just being a nervous nelly here--I am hoping to ask a partner venue to use the Order Export Utility for us and see that there is a red screwdriver next to the utility in the Reports & Utilities menu. There is not the scary red warning that it will update data and I have used it before with no changes to my system that I've noticed. But before I pushed it on someone else I wanted total clarity! It doesn't make any changes, right?

The export utility does not update anything. You are basically taking data out of the system. The import utility is what will alter the data.

That’s right. It doesn’t make any changes. It has the screwdriver because that’s the utility symbol, and it’s labeled a utility because it’s not really reporting on anything.
