Unable to do transaction in individual account

Hello,

We recently launched v11 and now we are unable to process orders in individual accounts. When putting in the constituent id, it gives an error message that the order has to be placed in the household account. The problem is that the credit card is stored only in the individual account. Is there a way to either be able to process orders in the individual account, or transfer the credit card information to the household account?

Thank you

  • There are 3 rows in the T_DEFAULTS system table that control this:

    TRANSACT_AS_HOUSEHOLD_CONTR
    TRANSACT_AS_HOUSEHOLD_CREDITEE
    TRANSACT_AS_HOUSEHOLD_ORDER

Before we launched V11 here we had a discussion on what our business practice would be regarding forcing or not forcing transactions to happen on the household. We decided that in most cases we want the transaction to happen on the household account but there were a couple of exceptions to the rule. So all 3 of those rows for us is set to "prompt" meaning a pop-up will ask us if we want to transact at the household or individual level.

The other two options for these rows are "yes" (which is probably your settings) and "no".

If you are making a change away from your current setting I would recommend discussing it with your Tessitura team and making sure everyone understands how it will work going forward.

    Hope that helps!

  • Thank you very much! I will discuss with my team.
