We are currently setting up our group tours in Tessitura and are running into a few problems. We want to assign docents to each tour. We currently run consecutive tours on the ½ hour for as many as 100 in a group. The docent’s name needs to stay with the tour time. We offer 12 different tour types.
I’m overwhelmed as where to start. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Are the tours set up as performances? If so, one possible route would be to create a customer service issue (CSI) under the customer record of the docent for that performance (tour). I'm not sure what reporting needs you might have with that (it would probably need a custom report or two) but that would keep the docent attached to the tour and wouldn't require any new custom screens or functionality in Tessitura.
This isn't a scheduling or volunteer management solution, but if all you need is to track the docent for each tour, this might be the easiest process.
