Hello,
We had to cancel a show a few weeks ago due to bad weather. I am trying to figure out how many exchanges and refunds were done out of the show. I am struggling with the refunds portion. I can figure out the exchanges through a specific MOS, but am having difficulty finding the number of refunded tickets and money.
I have tried using TStats by looking at the seat status for SubLineItems, but that didn't give me the option of RET which also is used for exchanges. I have also looked at the Payments by Performance report which isn't showing me the negative amounts for any credit cards that would have been refunded as there are still a tickets not refunded yet out of the show.
Any adivce?
Thanks!
Try looking at the Performance Transaction Detail report which will give you transaction level detail, which will show ticket refund transaction types grouped under their corresponding payment methods.

Amy,
We are having the same issue - we can't use T-Stats to search for the RET piece of data. Did you ever get an answer on this?

Amy and Devin,
I think Ryan's suggestion is going to be best. T-Stats does not report on returned line items in the Tickets and Seats cubes. T-Stats shows “net” activity. Thus, in T-Stats if a ticket is purchased and then returned, T-Stats simply removes the ticket entirely from reporting in these cubes, as if it never existed. Most Tessitura reports (Season Overview etc.) work this way as well. If a ticket is exchanged (ie returned and replaced by a new line item), only the currently reserved sub line item will be reflected in the T-Stats Tickets and Seats cubes.
In the T-Stats Packages cube, so long as there is at least one sub line item from the original package that has not been returned, the package will be included in the cube. The original and paid amounts will reflect the total amounts due and paid on the original package sub line items. The exchange amount will reflect the original amount due on the sub line items that were originally part of the package and have been subsequently returned.
Hope that helps!Chris

Chris,
Thank you for letting us know. That's what I was seeing, but it's good to have a confirmation.
Ryan,
Do you know if this is a reporting function that is planning to be added in a later version? Or is there some way to pull the information by a different query?
