I've just had our accounting arm come to me trying to determine the source of a significant variance on a day last month.
After some investigation, it appears that the packages I did in the package Seat Cancellation (via the utility of the same name in the Season Manager) showed up as income (!) on the stock Daily Sales Report. I've checked the documentation along with information here and found nothing as to why this might be the case. However, if I pull out a calculator and subtract the subscriptions "sold" that day, the DSR comes into alignment with the Posting Report for that day.
When I performed the Seat Cancellation (after performing the steps in Test), I did it per the documentation and received no errors, accomplishing the cancellation in four Ticketing batches.
The stock Package Sales Report and Package Order Listing report were unaffected.
Should the seat release have occurred in a different Batch Type or just not been posted with the rest of the activity for the day?
