Fees for Subscriptions

We are working on putting our subscriptions together for next season. Is there a way to make the fees round a total package price up to a certain amount. For example they would like to keep the single ticket costs the same between shows for easy exchanges but have the fees vary so that one package may need $9 added in fees while the next only needs $4 in fees. Is there an easy way to do this in Tessitura without changing individual pricing around?

  • In order to have our packages round out to nice numbers, we needed our fees to be different for each performance and price level for our Broadway season.  In order to accomplish this, we have “handling fee events” that are attached to our package.  They are built as a production with the same number of performances as the rest of the season.

The Handling Event is listed in the patron’s subline items, but we don’t print it.

It definitely works to round out the numbers, but it doesn’t show up on any fee reporting.  We also have to do a bit of finagling if we need to refund a season order after it is printed.
