Hi Tessituruians,
We currently have a large outside venue which uses a access control scanner linked to the system of Ticket Master.
What we want to do temporarily until we get out our access control is either mask the barcode number to populate 12 digits (which is what the scanner takes) or use a prefix (i.e 1055555 – the 10 being the prefix) which the scanner will register as a ticket that is allowed to enter the venue.
Has anyone done this? If so which approach did they find useful – or is there a better way – always up for new ideas.
