Promo Codes to website

HI,

I have set up several offers codes In Tess which are available on our website using promo codes; each one should only be visible when entering the specific promo code to take advantage of specific offer. However they currently are all visible when you use any of the promo codes on the web, Can any one advise me as to why this happens and how I can undo it?

Many thanks

  • Do the promo codes all unlock the same MOS and/or price type? That has caught me a couple times when we have multiple password protected presales running at the same time. I had to create extra presale price types to avoid one presale password unlocking all the presales.

    Hi Ciara-

Are you using a promo MOS that all your offers are attached to? If so:

If a price type is attached to a promo code in ANY performance, it must be attached to a promo in ALL performances in that production, otherwise it will show up when it is not supposed to.

So, if there is an offer that you only want available for selected performances, you still need to attach an offer with that PT to all of the performances. We created a "ghost" promo code in TR_WEB_SOURCE_NO. For the performances that you do NOT want the offer to be available for, create an offer with that PT anyway and attach it to the "ghost" code that nobody will use or know of.

Also, make sure there is a start and end date on all of your offers, that can also cause issues.

    Hope this makes sense...
