We create a new gift certificate payment method every year (with a new gl) and then for that fiscal year sell gift certificates using the appropriate payment method. We inadvertently sold a number of gift certirficates using a previous year's payment method.
I am wondering if I can still use the Knowledge Base Solution (Moving money from one GL account to another) in this case, ie create two new payment method with the gift certificate gl's and a payment type of other and transfer the money that way.
