We have a number of patrons who run into issues trying to process a ticket order online. Most commonly, they will select their seats but then find themselves unable to log in because they have forgotton/lost their login. Rather than go through the process to get a new login, they will just close their browser and call our box office to complete the transaction.
But when our box office associate goes to book the tickets the patron wanted, they're still locked under "Web User, TN Express" and remain so until the abandoned cart releases them.
Is there a way for box office associates to take these seats and book them into an order without have to wait for them to be released? Or is the best bet just to reduce the cart timer?
Back in my previous life at the Nashville Symphony we used the shared reports #170 and #171 to view and unlock the seats via a report instead of waiting for the timer. Might be worth a look to see if they would be appropriate in your system.
