Single Tix on the Web

Hi,

Our seasons at the Symphony overlap twice a year  - Winter season is still on sale when single tickets go on sale for the summer in March/April.  Customers are able to purchase winter and summer shows on the web in one order.... But summer tickets are not mailed until  3 weeks before the first summer show, sometime in June....So we have orders with some lineitems to be printed right away and some at a later day ... Does anybody have the similar situation and how do you handle printing tickets ?

Thank you ,

Sabina ( on behalf of ticketing)

  • We use batch ticket printing for all web orders. Given that your winter and summer shows are in different seasons, this should work perfectly for you. Just print the season that needs to be printed, and then later print the other season.

We don’t have two season to test with right now, but I do have some test subscription orders that have more than one package in them. I ran batch printing for just one package, and only that printed, leaving other packages in the order unticketed.
