Sales Reporting by Zip Codes

Hello Tessiturians!

I think I may have to go to T-Stats for this, but I thought I'd throw this question to the forum to see if anyone else has tried something else that may work.

We have a presenter who has increased their print marketing and have seen a return on that increased marketing.  They'd like to know what cities these sales are coming in from in order to target more marketing materials over the next two weeks.  Outside of T-Stats does anyone know a way to pull this information for them?

As always, your help is greatly appreciated.

Cheers!

Our zip codes reside in the Tickets cube/Dimension ConstSum/General.

We have also customized our Category field in for walk-up orders to capture zip codes of anonymous transactions; this show in T-Stats in the Ticket Orders dimension.

I'd like to run a report that shows our top zip codes by sales performance. I have t-stats but don't know how to pull this information.

    How do I do this?

    I know you mentioned T-Stats.

T-Stats is actually great for Zip Code/Geographic location reporting.  It is particularly helpful to filter by top 20 or 30 zip codes by household.  We use this to understand the differences in our audiences program by program.  It can be really helpful with targeting your marketing efforts to particularly strong areas for your programs.

  • Ray,

That's an interesting idea.  Where are the zip codes being entered during the order for walk-ups?
