Altering multiple MOS in Season Maintenance

Our Setup Department asked me a question about Inserting/Updating Modes of Sale in Season Maintenance.

We currently have around 60 Modes of Sale, which makes adding them to performances a very laborious process - not so much when setting up a Season initially as updating existing performances when alteration requests come in - as they have to be applied one at a time.

Does anyone know if there is a Utility or Shared Report that would allow multiple MOSs to be applied in one go? The Start Date, End Date and other information entered on the Modes of Sale screen would apply to all MOS selected for all performances, and would be altered as necessary afterwards.

Any ideas, or is this an enhancement request ...

Thanks

  • I see.  I misunderstood what you were asking.  No, there is not a way to do that. I will say, though, that it saves all your start and end time settings as long as you don’t exit Season Maintenance shouldn’t have to do anything other than select the next mode of sale each time.

50+ active modes of sale seems a little unusual to me.  I would also look to see if they are all truly necessary.  This might be a good excuse to consolidate modes of sale, if possible.
