V11 Salutations on Ticket Stock

Hello SuperUsers,

How are organizations handling long salutation names formatted on ticket stock?

We've changed the v11 ticket design to pull Salutation1 for our header on ticket stock.   Since the salutation is much longer than N1, the names are being cut off.  

Has anyone opted for eliminating Prefixes in the Salutations?

  • AppSupport could say if there is a way to change the size – but 30 characters can handle a lot and we have just insisted that all records have it.  Most times it means “Mr. and Mrs.” is “Mr & Mrs”  and middle initials or Jr get dropped.  For these we have a more formal salutation that is non-label length.

    Currently we have the default settings in place.  Where would I change it to the label character size?  How would that affect the names if they're over 30 characters?

    Wondering if you are using the standard 30 character label salutation.   We have a rule here that the default salutations ALWAYS has to be a label so  we have the 30 characters with fits

    When creating new records, are the formats being manually added by the sales reps or is this automated?
