Remove Donated Ticket Seat Status

Hey,

We have some seats which were donated, however our website doesn't show these tickets for sale because their seat status shows as donated. Is there a way to remove this status and revert the tickets back to available. I do not want to reverse the donation itself, just simply the status.

Thanks,
Maurice

  • Thanks again, Patrick!

We needed to tell our API to recognize seats with status 18 (Donated for Resale, found  in TR_SEAT_STATUS) as available.

Hopefully in another 2 years, knowing that will save someone some time J

    Hi Casey –

Having never done this before, I’m grasping at straws just a little bit, but I would check two things:

    ·         If your website uses a different Parent Table, you might make sure the entry in T_DEFAULTS references that correct table (we’re in a consortium, but we have a “First Stage” parent table that affects things in the client, and a “FSCT WEB” parent table that  affects things online).

    ·         If your website caches Tessitura data like ours does, there might be a cache page that you have to clear. Ours does and sometimes changes don’t seem to take effect until that happens. Your web team would know about this.

If neither of those helps, I wish you best of luck to find the solution! J
