What is that huge grey bar on the merge constituent screen?

I've been scheduling records to merge, but when I click on the constituent list at the top of the screen, a huge grey bar appears and I can't get it to go away. I'm sure it's meant to be for marking off parts of the screen or something like that, but does anyone know how it works? Can I turn it off?

    Hi Matthew -

    A couple of things - 

    What version of Tessitura are you on? If you are on v11 there has been some significant fixing to the merge area between 11.03 and 11.04. If you are on v11.03 I've found some times that shrinking down my open window and then making it full size again can fix some of the display issues.

    I'd probably submit this as a help ticket rather than a forum question - they can tell you if there is a hot fix and if it is a bug it will go to the right place!

    I think it’s a little buglet, and it’s scheduled to go away in 11.04.

    Constituents

    In prior releases of version 11, splitter bars in datawindows may have appeared even when there is no corresponding horizontal scroll bar. In this state, it was impossible to move or eliminate them. This has been corrected.
