Re-order performances?

Is there a way to re-order the performances listed in the drop-down box within a ticketing order?

We're on version 10 still, any V11 folks have this capability?

  • By default, the sort is alpha based on the performance code.  In Tools/Preferences, there is an option on the right side for “Sort Performance Dropdown by Date”.  Those are the only two options.

  • Hrmm ok.Thanks Ryan.

It'd be great if there was a different way, as we setup a standard default date for Education Classes that run for a series of dates so that default date doesn't pull in our custom education reports.

Either that or functionality to specify a date range on a performance would rock. We currently put it in the Text 1 - 4 fields which has character limits for reasons I don't understand.

  • Hi Sarah:
We set our mainstage productions to a performance code that starts with a date parameter.  Other events, including workshops have a performance code that begins with a letter indicating the type of event.

We also create different performance types for performance groups, education, outside events, etc.

This gives us the option of a more clear sort, with our mainstage productions starting the top of our dropdown in the order screen.  It also lets us isolate our reporting.

Please feel free to call should you have any questions whatsoever.

  • Thank you Mark, we do have a similar setup as far as performance codes - it's good to hear other people doing it as well. What we're looking for is a place to specify the date the program ends - we build one performance per program, even if it runs for several weeks.

I've build something in TR_INV_CONTENT so we may input an end date along with the following pieces of information in case anyone's interested:

    • ED Program End Date
    • ED Days of Week (Mon-Fri)
    • ED Time (10 - 12pm)
    • ED Location Street 1
    • ED Location Street 2
    • ED Location City
    • ED Location State
    • ED Location Zip
    • ED Notes
