Order Search Colour Key

Hi all,

Is anyone able to enlighten me as to the meaning of each row colour in the order search screen? I can't seem to find this in the documentation.

Cheers,

Patrick.

  • One row is listed for each constituent record that matches the search criteria.

Records that are a direct match on Name 1 are listed in white (no highlight).

Records that are a match on Name 2 are listed in light blue.

Records that are a match on an alias name are listed in pink.

Records that are inactive are listed in gray.

Records that are potential duplicates are listed in light green.

  • Awesome, thanks Nichole. Is this documented somewhere?

    Patrick.

  • Wait a minute, I think you might have given me the key for the constituent search screen, I'm after the one for order search...but thanks anyway!

  • Hi Patrick,

I am not sure that the colour codes in the constituent search match what you are looking for in the order search window. From memory the order that you have open appears in the list in an apricot colour, orders that you have viewed are in a  darker bluey/green colour and I thought there was one other colour to indicates that someone else has the order open, however when I look at this now those also appear in the darker bluey/green colour.

    I hope that helps?

    Thanks and regards,

    Mardi.

  • Sorry about that but I think if you go to the order search screen and click on the help screen it should pull up the documentation

  • Thanks Mardi, that's what I was after. One of our box office team couldn't print an order highlighted in apricot from the search screen and this now makes perfect sense. Hope you are doing well, BTW.

Cheers again Nichole, unfortunately the order search documentation only references a green highlight for special requests.

    Patrick.
