Pretty basic question here that I think I know the answer to--mostly just looking for some positive affirmation! I want to view ONLY Sub Line Items that should be included in a revenue total--should I exclude the following SLI Statuses and ONLY the following SLI Statuses: Void-Returned in this Order, Void-Returned in Another Order, Returned, Return in Benevolent Mode?
Are there exceptions to excluding SLIs with these statuses? Are there other statuses that could throw off a revenue total?

Usually the only sli statuses we ever include in ticketing reports are 3 & 12, plus 2 if you want to include holds.
Thanks Chris. With revenue at the end of a run though, what about tickets with a status of Return in Benevolent Mode, and their corresponding voided item? Am I totally missing something, or isn't the production still receiving this income? And therefore, to exclude them, you miss out on some sales? I realize the seat could be resold... But the person is not refunded in this type of transaction, correct?
Any insight would be amazing! I think I'm probably making this more complicated than it should be...
HI Frannie:You are correct in thinking the RTB (Return in Benevolent Mode) is included as income, whether the tickets are re-sold or not. The patron is not refunded for these.

Re: RTB, or sli_status 13 - I didn't mention that because we don't use it at our org.
I would still recommend reporting on the sli_statuses you want to include (including 13 is your case), rather than all except a subset you want to exclude.
Mark and Chris, that makes sense. With what you've both said, I think the area I'm stymied on is how to conditionally include some sli_statuses (ex. only include Voided orders IF there is a corresponding RTB line).
BUT that sounds like a question for the Techie forum or an SQL site...
