Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone has had trouble getting the image sizes right in the Ticket Design section?
Ive been sent an image to use for some of our shows as part of a festival, after converting it to 1bit monochrome and changing the file to a .pcx, putting it in the right path etc. I can now get a graphic box in the design section.
However its coming up really narrow and changing the character height/width dimensions only goes so far... I have tried resizing it before converting it, anything up 75% is narrow anything above that does not show up at all.
Im opening these as JPGs and saving as 1bit monochrome in MS Paint (the only graphics program available to me)
Any tips and help on this one would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Lachlan
Lachlan,
We use IrfanView – here is the link to download it for free: http://www.irfanview.com/
Once you have the image loaded, click on Image at the top:
· Choose Sharpen – I normally do this about 3 times to make the logo clean and sharp
· Choose Resize/Resample… I simply “Set new size” to 2 inches on the width and the Height will auto adjust
· Choose Decrease color depth and check the 2 colors choice
Once you have saved it as a .pcx file when you open it up in ticket design you can resize it make it bigger if needed.
I haven’t had much problem with doing it this way, if ever, but there is always a first.
Let me know if I can help further.
Best,
