Hi everyone,
This is more of a curiosity question than a problem as such. I was just wondering- if any of you use output sets on a fairly regular basis, what’s the average number of names on your list, and what’s your output size (in pages, before you save to excel or whatever)? We’ve got some output sets that are truly monstrous (nearly a page a name in some cases) and I’m just trying to gauge how normal or not this is before doing an output set overhaul!
Cheers,
Kathleen
Holy Output Sets Batman!
We use output sets quite a bit, but most of ours are for specific contact info formatting, or are looking at particular bits of information, so are not particularly large. We also use parameters quite a bit for our custom output elements so we are usually looking at limited amount of information.
Our lists really range - but we generally are looking in the thousands.
However, it sounds like people might be using their output sets to do some custom reporting - which IMHO is great and I'd probably encourage if I saw that in my organization. If people are using huge output sets and then deleting much of the information, then I'd look at redoing the output sets. :)

Thanks, Heather! That was what I was thinking, but good to bounce it off of others J
