Editable Pricing and Max Price

Just wondering if anyone knows when using editable pricing if the price entered must respect the Max price as well as the Min price?  We had an issue today where a patron was going to be charged over $92,000 for a seat because of a typing error.  It seems to me that if it respects the Min price it should also respect the Max price but am not sure.

  • Michele, The price is not really considered a max price per se.  Generally that is used as the suggested price to limit the need for editing by the operators when adding the line items.  If you have a pay what you can with a suggested price of $10 then you would set the price to $10 and that way the if a customer opts for the suggested price there is no editing required.  When setting it up this way then you would certainly not want to limit the max in case you have a customer who wants to pay more than the suggested price.
