Multiple Day Duration Performance?

Hello all,

Has anyone ever set their Performance to have Doors Open and Doors Close be on two separate days, and had this flow through to the N-Scan devices?

We are about to put a special forum event on sale that runs for two days, and it would be great to scan tickets that are for a Performance date in the past, but still have a 'doors open' status.

I suspect that the Performance date overrides the Doors Close time, but I would love to hear otherwise.

    So this has been up here for a while, and I'm guessing you've already had your event, but... better late than never I hope... ?

    We have a general admission event we use for drink coupons that can be redeemed throughout the year. One of the first things we learned was that regardless of the doors open and close dates on the performance, if you're letting the scanners pick up open performances (rather than keying in perf_no's), they'll only find performances that are happening on that day. So our general admission event which was scheduled for the end of the season did not get picked up by the scanners, and they gave the "ticket for a different performance" error. 

    We solved this by making the event a "rolling date" - i.e., changing the date of the event every day to be the current day. We simply set up a scheduled job to run just after midnight each day to update the perf date. Now the scanners pick up the performance every day when they're turned on.
