I am looking for 2-3 Tessitura users in the U.S. who sell major (5000+) contemporary music concerts. Examples would be popular/rock and country artists like Wilco and Luke Brian. If your organization sells large amounts of tickets for these types of concerts, please let me know - my colleagues at Walton Arts Center would like to discuss obstacles and solutions to the onsale process.

We just went through a major discovery process around ticketing an event in Cowboy's Stadium here in Dallas. Would have been 40,000 seats. We wanted to do the whole thing via web sale only and use Print at home delivery for all tickets. We learned that 1) website must be very ROBUST to handle the traffic 2) Tessi was never intended to do large stadium size venues 3) seat server would probably crash. UGH! We discovered that having an online waiting room would have solved the problem. We're a TNEW client and no one has yet created a waiting room that will integrate. But, we are now working with JCA to have one created for us. We've had to bow out of this Cowboy Stadium event but hopefully in the future we'll be able to handle something this large with a waiting room.

How is the JCA waiting room working for you on TNEW? We are currently moving to Tessitura with TNEW for an 8000 seat theatre. I'm a little worried about our first big on-sale.
