Ticketing Parking Garage

Has anyone had any success using Tessitura to manage their parking garage/lot? If not Tessitura, what other programs are organizations using? Why did you choose to go with that program? What parts do you really like, what parts do you wish were different? If you are able to speak on these matters would it be okay if I contact you?

Any information is greatly appreciated.

    You can do it two ways. If you have a finite number of spaces to sell each day, I would set up for each day. If it isn’t that close, to save performance management,  could set up a single parking performance for a week or month, or even season.

    Thanks. I had this but what step wasn’t clear was the performance side of it. Do I create a parking “performance” for every evening we have a performance?

    I see what people are doing but I have no idea HOW to do it. The steps, the process to make it work.

    We have several lots that we sell through Tessitura. We have a separate GA facility and Parking Season for them and build a “Parking” Price Type. Basically it is just like any other GA show with tickets printed from Tessitura and everything. I’m sure you will receive responses from other people that handle it differently.

    We're launching a parking voucher program. We're purchasing the spaces then selling vouchers to our patrons in Tessitura. I've built a facility and now I'm trying to add a fee but I need to pick a performance. How do I create "performances" for this voucher for the rest of the season and attach the fee to it?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks. I was thinking the same thing and started building it that way last night- a couple of days at a time.

    I just needed the next step in the process. This is new to me.

    We have one parking event built for a given time frame so one event for a matinee of parking and one for an evening of parking so we don’t oversell.
