Adjusting rollover details

As we near the renewal period for our next subscription season, we have a few requests to change the constituent name for the 2010 rollover, whilst maintaining the 2009 tickets in the account of the current subscriber.

In theory what we want to do is return a constituent’s seats on the 2009 base seat map, retaining the associated performances and then reallocate the 2009 base seats to another constituent. We’re waiting for final season details before building the 2010 season, so I can’t go into the next season and set up the reallocated base seat directly.

I’m conscious also of what the effect would be on any package sales reports if we were to remove base seats.

Does anyone have a neat solution to this situation?

Many thanks!

Amalia

What we do is simply change the patron ID on the order once it's rolled or processed. Depending on your security settings, it's a pretty simple switch.
