Report for Discounts cost difference?

Hello,

Does anyone know of a report they can share or know of a way to calculate the revenue lost for a season due to discounting tickets? I do not have TStats yet to assist with this so anyone that have any ideas as to how to get this data would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

  • Lost to discount is in Season Overview. You could start there and see if that gets you what you need.

  • Thanks Amanda, that would most certainly get me the information I need however, we sadly do not have Season Overview set up. Thank you though!

  • Hi Amy,

I believe there is a shared report called Comp Code Reason (or something of the like).  You can choose price types other than comp and it will show you the amount discounted (therefore, lost to discount).  It compares to the base price set on the performance.

It was a long time ago that we imported that report and I believe we've made some changes to it, but it might be a good jumping off point for you.

  • For more reasons than just this one, you may want to talk to someone in your IT dept about setting up a scheduled job to refresh season overview. It's super handy for lots of things.
