Not sure if this is an allocation issue or not, but seems to be--
We recently put together an allocation tied to a single ticket pre-sale online (limiting patrons to sections II and III of our theatre space) using a distinct mode of sale (Internet Pre-Sale) and promo code. I'm happy to report that all of this works flawlessly, however ...
An auxiliary event (which was built and put on sale prior to the pre-sale build) also sold online via another mode of sale (Internet), seems to have stopped working since our pre-sale construction (patrons receive the generic this item is no longer on sale on line message ... as though there were no available seats ... this was not the case prior to our allocation build ...). I had my Box Office see if they could carry out a transaction within Tessitura itself (the event also has Box Office mode of sale), and they also found that seats were not mysteriously not available. Curiously, this even is in another space (and therefore a separate house in Tessitura as well).
The clever devils that we are, we decided to try building the auxiliary event its own mode of sale whilst taking it off of the Internet mode of sale, but to no avail. What might we be missing here?
