Does anyone have any advice on putting limitations on price types so there is a maximum and minimum quantity. For example, I'd like to set up a Family ticket where the maximum and minimum that customers can book is set to 5.

Hello!
You could also try applying an offer thru whichever modes of sale you desire.
By selecting the desired price type and then leaving appeals and source as "all" you can then set a ticket limit.
The advantage to using the offers is that you can limit the ticket amounts not only by web but by any mode of sale selected.
