Hello Everyone,

I've been trying to figure out how to create a note/pop-up or CSI for a patrons record, so that every time customer service opens it, they are alerted to a special note about the patron.

I heard about this at the conference, but I can't find it.  If a patron purchases a program, it would be create is a CSI could automatically be triggered to be sent to the event coordinator who needs to accommodate them.

Please direct me to where I can learn how to do this,

    We utilize CSI's for brochure requests. We have our box office staff assign it to our box office assistant supervisor to mail out.

    When the CSI is created in the constituent record, after you push the SAVE button the ASSIGN button at the bottom of that box will become active. You can click the ASSIGN button and it will open a Tickler window. You can then assign that CSI to be completed by a specific staff member.

    You might be referring to a presentation that was made at the conference (last year?) where they showcased an alerting system that was being developed. That functionality does not exist yet for general release (unless that is included in v11, but I don't think it is).
    There are some other things you can use though, like what Beth mentions with CSI's.
    You can also set up a CSI activity type with the category of Information Request, which you can then automatically run and email with the CSI Information Request Labels report found in the Labels and Letters report folder. Documentation can be found here.
    You could also add something to your constituent header to show up based upon various conditions, but that probably wouldn't be the solution for something like the example you've given.
