We are ticketing a free concert for the "President's Own" U.S. Marine Band and they require an overprint of 30% of the house. Our current venue setup is such that we do not have any additional seats for standing room.
Is there any way to do an overprint in Tessitura? Or do we just have to build an entire new venue with additional seats?
Has anyone ticketed for a free event through Tessitura? We are debating whether we should use Tessitura at all, or if we should just issue preprinted hard tickets. Any experience you have with ticketing free events would be much appreciated.
Is this festival seating? We have a template house with a couple thousand seats for festival seated events that we just reuse anytime we are faced with something like this. We simply black out seats to scale the house. You can also add in additional SRO seats if it's a reserved house and just set up a standard holdcode map to black these out when you build new shows that don't use them. There are a few procedures you will need to run if you add new seats to an existing house.
