Hi all! Just looking for a bit of feed back.
I built all of our facilities on V9 using 22x80 grid dimensions (which was the recommended size). When we switched to V10 I started receiving comments from the box office staff saying parts of their seat maps are being cut off if the seats went right to the far right side or bottom of the screen.
In order to fix this problem I had them all change their seating map font size to 14 instead of 16.
Did anyone else have this problem after the upgrade? If you did, how did you fix it?
Thanks!
The seat map size issue is going to haunt me forever. I know it!
We recently upgraded our Test system to V11 and are in the process of training, seeing what changed, finding conversion errors, etc.
I noticed that two of the screens within our main facility were actually built to 23x80 instead of 22x80. I now understand why we had to change to a smaller font size when we upgraded to V10.
In V11 now it is forcing me to scroll to get that extra row in these two screens. I've tried changing the seat map font size, changing the new application scaling, adjusting my Windows resolution/font sizes. I can't find a way to simply get that extra row in the screen without scrolling to it. Perhaps there is a magic combination of settings that need to be in place?
Is anyone else in the same boat as me? If you are (or, preferably, were!) have you found a solution? It's driving me bonkers. :)
We would hate to have something haunt you like that! In the next release of v11 (date not yet known) the seatmap will be back to displaying the 23 rows that it (incorrectly) did in v10. We're not sure whether we can do a hot fix for this but we will experiment with that next week.
Hello Chuck & Beth,
I'm thrilled to hear that this will be fixed in the next patch, as our main facility currently has all 23 rows used too.
Look forward to seeing the release in the near future. :)
Beau.
