Default End Time

When setting up a performance, on the "pricing" tab there is a default end date field. Its currently set to 8pm. Is there a table somewhere in Tessitura to change this default time?

  • Hi Amy,

     

    That default defaults to the performance date and time (the start default defaults to the day and time you create the performance).  You can manually edit it right on the Pricing tab.  It’s used as the default when you add a price map from the Pricing tab.  The start and end defaults on the Mode of Sale tab work the same way.

  • Thanks Kevin. The issue we have is that never fail, even if we change it
    to a different time it somehow makes its way back to the default time
    and if we don't notice it, we are in the middle of getting a show in the
    door and the price types turn off. I just thought if there was a way to
    set the default to a different time it would be very helpful.

  • I would also check to see that the applicable modes of sale are not set to end at performance time.

  • Amy, I've found this happens sometimes as well and I think it happens when I forget to tab or click out of the date/time field.  If you don't, then Tessitura doesn't recognize that a change has been made and doesn't prompt you to save your changes.
