Hiding a show on the web

We built two performance as per the show's promoter. Now they only want one show to be visable on line.

I've tried the following:   Removed the Web Publishing date.    Made the show inactive (not just off sale).  Tried to delete the event but couldn't get past the date ( but did delete all the MOS, PriceMaps and Pricetypes.   Changed the door open and close date and times.

But it still shows up as two performances. what else can I do?

  • Your site is probably caching the info. Did you try clearing the cache? How long has it been since you made the change? The change to the web publish and the MOS should have done the trick.

  • I’ve cleared the cache and then had a co-worker clear it too.  I will check again.

  •  I just realized you said you removed the web publish dates. If that's blank the perf will always show up. To hide it, the web publish dates should be in the past.

  • Thanks, that did the trick!

  • Does anyone know how to completely remove a perfomance from the web?

The MOS and Web dates do not prevent someone from typing in the URL with the Performance ID :(

Removing Web MOSs will prevent people purhcasing tickets, but not hide the event completely. :(
