GL Summary Report - fiscal year

We are trying to determine where some money is coming from that is showing up as fiscal year 2009 in the GL Summary Report.  Does anyone know where the fiscal year value comes from originally (ie. campaign perf, price map, or source level)?  Thanks.

Jason, the fiscal year comes from the Campaign that is associated with the performance or package (for ticket sales), or with the Campaign associated with fees or with the Campaign associated with a Fund for contributions.

  • Jason,

This question was addressed recently in another forum post related to the Transactions by Posting Report.  http://www.tessituranetwork.com/COMMUNITY/forums/p/486/1607.aspx#1607 The first response from Ryan Creps on June 1, 2009 holds true for the GL Summary Report as well.  I have pasted his response here but if you want to look at the whole discussion click the link above.

The fiscal year is associated from the campaign attached to the item associated to the GL Account.

Depending on the transaction, the campaign will be associated to:

    Fund

    Performance

    Package

    Fee

Lastly, if you have an order with no items in it (fees, line items or order contributions), the campaign from the source of the order will be used to determine the fiscal year.  This most often happens when a gift certificate is purchased without any other contents in the order.

    Best,

  • The fiscal year for tickets comes from the campaign on performances.
