Flex Package - disable multi-zone selection

Hello,

We are creating a flex package and selling it online via TNEW.  In our testing of this package online, we have noticed that customers have the ability to choose which price zone they want for each "performance" (eg: Premium for Perf A and B-Reserve for Perf B) rather than select one price zone and then it being applied to all performances.

Any tips or tricks on how to change this would be lovely!

Beau.

  • Hey Beau,

We're using TNew at the Brandenburg and went live with subs a couple of weeks ago!  We had the same issue for 3 packs in Sydney and this would be an enhancement request for the next version of TNew.

We got around it by building "dummy" 3 packs as fixed-seat packages - since we could not and would not have rolled over any subscribers.  Anyone booking a 3 pack, whether renewing or new, will book one of these fixed packs which will result in a non-seated order.  These customers get seated last after all the fixed-seat 4,5 and 6 packs are dealt with.  Ticketing staff will cancel the dummy fixed-seat 3 packs during the seating process and replace with the flexi package at the same time.

This issue also applies to super packages - I had to insert a message for Melbourne packages as they are being shared between MRC and Hamer Hall.

I'll forward you login details for our site so you can see what I have done.

    cheers,

    Kev

  • Hi there! I'm stumbling through TNew for the first time and am trying to solve this exact same issue. Do you know if there has been an update made to restrict the price zone, or is your dummy package approach still the only way you know how to get around it? Appreciate any assistance!

  • I'd also really like to know if this issue has been resolved by a new version. Does anyone know?

    Cheers,
