How come it is not possible to use an Invoice payment method on an order import set? I know the documentation says which payment method types are useable, but it doesn't say why the types that aren't useable aren't.
Opening this old topic back up - Amanda, did you ever get any answers or thoughts on this?
We are interested in importing orders that need to be paid off using the Invoice payment method and are also wondering why only certain payment methods are included in the import procedure.
It seems easy enough to tweak the import procedure to allow for invoice payment method, but I'm just wondering if there is a compelling reason to not do this.

I was still working at La Jolla Playhouse back when I posted this question. I don't think I ever heard from anyone else about it, and don't recall what I did for the project that prompted the question.
