Best seating multiple line items together

Hi all,

We have a family show that has just opened where the orders are sold with multiple line items (e.g. one with an adult's price type and one with a child's price type). When we "best seat" these, the two are not seated next to each other. This is causing an issue as the venue is allocated seating and all the families end up being separated across the venue.

Have we missed anything with our contiguity set up or is there something else that we should have done (presuming this is something that can be done?!)?

Thanks,

Alison

  • You can have one lineitem with mixed pricetypes by changing the pricetype on one or more of the sublineitems from the sublineitem tab. Then when you best seat the lineitem they'll up together.

It is possible that two separate best seated lineitems done at approximately the same time might end up together, but that would depend on how your best seat map is set up and the availability in the house at the time. The next best seat might be next to the previous one, but it might not.
